We strive to provide the highest level of service as well as the highest quality products for our customers. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority.

Payment

We accept payment in the form of cash, checks approved by Telecheck, Apple Pay, Google Pay and the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover, as well as offering commercial credit accounts.

Commercial Accounts

We encourage our commercial customers to open a charge account at each of our three locations. Credit accounts are not connected across locations. A separate account is needed for each location, but the status of one account- payments past due, etc- may affect the status or approval of others. Rental Policies

Rental Payments

All rentals are paid in advance unless you have an established account or different arrangements are made prior to your rental period.

Identification

A Maryland-issued ID and credit card are necessary to verify identity. For active military, a military ID can be used in place of a Maryland-issued ID.

Reservations

Reservations for rental items can either be requested through our website, or secured by giving us a phone call or stopping by one of our three convenient locations. There is no charge to reserve your rental items; however, if you need to cancel or change your reservation let us know ASAP so we can free up the equipment for other customers and continue to offer the reservations without requiring a deposit. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends, holidays and other busy times.

Deposits

Deposits vary depending on rental item; some require cleaning deposits, some fuel deposits, etc… There could also be an additional deposit for out of area rentals. Check with local store for deposit details.

Damage Waiver Plan

Every rental contract has an additional 10% Damage Waiver charge added to protect you against accidental damage to rented equipment. This is optional and can be declined at time of rental; if declined you might be required to leave an additional deposit to cover any unexpected damages. Standard Rental Rates

Minimum Rate – Varies from 4 hours to 4 weeks depending on equipment.
Day Rate – 24 consecutive hours.
Week Rate – 7 consecutive days.
4 Week Rate – 4 consecutive weeks.

Note: All standard rental rates are based not to exceed 8 hours of use per day, 40 hours of use per week or 160 hours of use per 4 week period. Additional usage will be charged accordingly on metered rental equipment, check with store for details.

Overnight Rental Rates During the Week

Overnight hours vary by location- please call to inquire about available hours and any special pricing that may result.

Weekend Rental Rates

Weekend hours vary by location- please call to inquire about available hours and any special pricing that may result.

Holiday Rental Rates

We also offer special holiday rates that will be posted on our web site as the holiday approaches or call us if you have any questions.

Fuel

Some rental equipment runs on gasoline while others use diesel fuel. It is important for the customer to be aware of the equipment’s fuel type at time of rental. Equipment requiring fuel will be full at the time of rental. Smaller equipment is rented with a flat fuel charge and it is not required to be refueled before returning. On larger rental equipment we require a fuel deposit and you will be charged for actual gallons used when equipment is returned. Since there is such a wide range of fuel consumption on rental equipment you will have to check each piece individually for the specific fuel deposit.

Delivery

Delivery and Pick-up are available at reasonable rates. Please include Delivery on your quote request or call your nearest branch for the applicable delivery fee to your location. Deliveries and pick-ups must be scheduled in advance, but we will make every effort to accommodate short notice requests when possible. Each location has its own delivery radius and rates that apply to any equipment available at that location. Equipment rented at one location does not use the delivery radius of another location.

Trailers & Towing

Trailer towing capacities are restricted according to the size of the vehicle towing the trailer. Vehicles towing trailers must be sized properly. If you are not comfortable towing a trailer, we always have delivery available with reasonable rates.

Equipment Operation

If you ever have questions about the proper operation of any rental item, please don’t hesitate to call. Our rental staff will help resolve any of your questions and concerns over the phone. Our rental equipment is maintained to the highest standards; however, occasionally you may encounter difficulties even when proper procedures are followed. In the rare case where the problem cannot be solved over the phone, we will do everything possible including providing substitute equipment for you to complete your project.
